PRIME|access: NYWICT’s Executive Mentoring Program is an 8 month program created to change the lives and paths of people involved in the industry’s future by:

Providing exceptional connections from illustrious and high-level executives
Presenting essential industry knowledge and vital survival tips
Providing one-on-one sessions with key Cable/Telecom Leaders
Reinforcing your talents and strengths
Aiding in the development of skills in career-orientated areas
Improving important managerial techniques

The Next Steps to a Successful Future are Here…

To be a mentor, you must be a senior cable executive with time to devote to your mentee.
To be a mentee, you must be a NYWICT member with 8 -10 years experience in the cable and telecommunications industry.

Program Structure

Establish a specific career-oriented goal at the outset and then set a plan toward achieving that goal over the course of the session.
Approximately 10 mentor/mentee one-on-one teams.
Runs for 8 months, commencing late September/early October.

Resources for Mentoring Teams

Sponsored breakfast information sessions for mentors and mentees throughout the program.
NYWICT worksheets provide recommended topics, meeting structure and organization.
Regular check-in with WICT Liaison who will track progress.
Networking events providing the opportunity to meet other mentors and mentees from the current and past programs.

Participants' Time Commitment

1-2 recommended meetings a month (via phone or in person).
At least 4 breakfast meetings for the group throughout the program.

Who are potential mentors? Senior level executives selected by a NYWICT committee.
Who are potential mentees? Industry professionals with 8 -10 years cable/telecommunications industry.
All participants in PRIME|access must be members of NYWICT.
